Brooklyn Book Festival

Location: Downtown Brooklyn, NY
Role: Production Manager

The Brooklyn Book Festival started in 2006 and is a yearly staple in downtown Brooklyn. This year, I was hired to take over as Production Manager. My responsibilities included working with vendors, managing the budget, filing permits, communicating with the various government agencies involved in this event, staffing, operations and logistics. This is a multi day festival featuring children’s’ authors and panel discussions for its participants.
